    This is what’s driving me insane. We’re talking like Mayfield is just having an ‘okay’ season and he’s holding the offense back. In reality Mayfield has BEEN the offense. 32nd rushing team, poor iOL, weak receiving core outside of 1 and 2. I mean the drops have KILLED the team this whole year. He has a very solid TD:INT ratio and a good QB rating as well. Hell he’s having a better season than Geno Smith, a QB everyone was lauding as having turned the corner last year.

    Do I think Mayfield is a LONG term answer? No, he’s too close to 30. But I absolutely think he can be a Kirk Cousins for us and provide stability while we rebuild the rest of the team.
