It’s the second game we’ve seen that happen. It sucks, Book can’t even get 2 minutes of rest before the players on the floor start to give up the lead. They need to find their identity without Book/KD on the floor. I know when Book/KD both play we won’t have one on the floor at all times, but c’mon, you’re all professionals. You shouldn’t have to depend on Book/KD all the time.
Yesterday I got downvoted AF because I said the team without Book on the floor gives up leads & what happened last night? I was just pointing out the obvious.
Just to name, when we’ll over 60% of your offense is in street clothes, and you’re playing a damn good team with a damn good defense, on the road, that shit will happen.
That’s why raising the floor seems so key. If the bench minutes can be even, blowouts should come heavy. And hopefully that’s what beals arrival can make happen. All of a sudden there is no place in the game where there’s a talent gap. Beal Gordon Allen KD eubanks is a HELL of a backup situation
