    I can see why opposing teams are electing to get the ball first instead of deferring. Strike first because Lions defense is really struggling on stopping opponents first drive.

    Which leads to the offense playing catch up mode and maybe abandoning the run early which makes our offense predictable.

      You’re absolutely right. Which begs the question, if we win the coin toss, shouldn’t we take the ball first rather than defer? I would
