I main rein and I think he’s the most fun character in the game. I especially love rein vs rein however I haven’t played I rein mirror in like two seasons and I feel like every game I play as rein I have to play out of my mind to win. He’s just in a bad state right now. Does anyone think he will get some fat buffs next season?
Not really? Most people agree hes actually above average out of tanks right now- I mean, his thicc armor and 1400 barrier is a great counter to absurd burst damage in the game right now. I know Reinhardt players talk about shield melting fast, but keep in mind thats still 1400 points of damage your team *didnt* take.
“Fat” buffs especially would be a bad idea- Rein being made too much better makes him way too quickly outpace every other tank in the game.
And frankly, unpopular as it may be to say around here… I disagree with the notion Rein is some perfectly designed tank and that “Rein metas are always the most fun”. True Rein metas are just as annoying as when any other single tank is the “true” meta, and while Im one of only 4 tank mains who says this, I actuallyt dont like playing as Rein every game personally.
