Haven’t seen this topic discussed too often, curious on everyone’s thoughts. IMO the big issue is subpar player development. It seems like we draft players that just end up plateauing after a year or two. When was the last time we drafted a player who far exceeded their expectations? The teams that come to mind that stand out in this area in recent years would be OKC, Spurs and Golden State. I’m referring to players that make you say to yourself, “I didn’t see him becoming that good coming out the draft”.

    Not enough adults on the team. Most rotations wouldn’t dare start more than 1 or 2 players with as little experience as our starting 5 has and that’s for a reason.
