Finally playing through FF 16 (new baby reducing gaming time) and I’ve unlocked the hunt board. Something about hunt boards hits just right for me. What are some of your favorite hunt boards in video games?

Final Fantasy 12’s hunt board is one of the best. Had the Elite hunts through Montblanc in Rabanastre and regular hunts throughout the game, as you explored.
Fighting that extensive list that just got better and better as you went as well as the rewards and internal ranking system. It was top-notch. Plus, as you ranked up, shops had more items available to you because of your Clan Centurio rank.
The hunts also included secret enemies and series favorites that were only in those hunts and nowhere else in the game.
Shit just flowed so smoothly.
Then, to end it all was the mother of all monsters; Yiazmat.
Fully agree with this. Would also add that hunting the monsters usually required to undertsand some specific mecanics or meet special events for the monster to turn up. FFXVI is too straightforward with their hunt board
