His ability to keep plays going and keep drives alive changes the landscape of the game. If our offense can’t stay on the field, our struggling defense is gonna be out there all day and we know what that means.
Imagine vs. the 49ers on Thanksgiving. Russ able to escape pressure and make some plays whether with his feet or with his arm and we manage another score or two and the 49ers don’t get as many chances and don’t spend as much time on offense? Different game and maybe come away with a W.
