    Idk if this is a popular pick, but with the roster we have now, I’d say a prime Russell Wilson would win us a lot of games with this receiver depth and talent.

    I mean prime Russ I think is the only player that could truly alter this teams course right now I would think. Prime Walter Jones might change the team enough, but my gut tells me we would need more. Prime Alexader or Prime Lynch might also spark the team but they would need a healthier Oline.

    But part of me wants to see Dave Kreig play with this offense. He looked like a high school janitor but man, he could execute an offense. And we need that.

    This sub probably hates this, but it’s prime Russ. A great pass rusher or pass blocker, safety, whatever it is, isn’t going to have the impact that prime Russ would have. His ability to keep plays going and keep drives alive changes the landscape of the game. If our offense can’t stay on the field, our struggling defense is gonna be out there all day and we know what that means.

    Imagine vs. the 49ers on Thanksgiving. Russ able to escape pressure and make some plays whether with his feet or with his arm and we manage another score or two and the 49ers don’t get as many chances and don’t spend as much time on offense? Different game and maybe come away with a W.

    If our offense can’t stay out there, our defense gets run down and their defense stays fresh.
