The sheer LACK of drops every added mob has (when killed).
Like, I get it for mobs based on real animals. its so no encouragement for killing them IRL is put in the minds of people.
but like its even all the fantasy mobs are not getting any drops… either bcs “AWW they cute” or “theyre not supposed to be killed” blah blah blah.
Strider, no drop. Warden, no new item drop… Sniffer too… I’m sure theirs more examples.
also for real mobs, the old ones feel so disconnected now… like ok i can eat cows and pigs but not frogs or camels. like its a SURVIVAL game not a vegan simulator, anything should be used for SURVIVING. or horses drop leather but not camels…
Another issue is the new way of drops… like it was cool the first time they added turtles shedding their scute, but like it gets old when every mod will be “shedding” drops, or “digging” them etc. those can be there but they should still drop smth on death as well.
i wish theres mod that adds new food (meats) that are appropriatly dropped from all the new mobs, etc.

- Llamas can create caravans to store large amounts of items while traveling early game by placing chests on them.
- Goats give you goat horns which are a fun feature for multiplayer servers. Not every item has to be game changing.
- Parrots mimic nearby mobs and could be used as a warning system.
- Turtle eggs are extremely useful for automatic gold farms.
- Dolphins can be used to make extremely fast highways.
- Axolotls can assist you in ocean combat, such as in a monument. They can also technically be used in automatic fish or squid farms since they attack them.
