Fr. People love to preach about better working conditions for game devs and getting rid of crunch culture until they realize that means they get less content. There’s a reason why Mojang is considered one of the best game companies to work for.

The gold drop was replaced with copper, so no.
Because what would goat meat realistically add? People would still just choose Steak or Golden Carrots.
Thinking you had your elytra equipped and jumping off a cliff
Cassidy’s grenade needs to be replaced or heavily reworked before he can receive meaningful buffs. The ability is inherently so unfun to both use and play against that Cass being meta is fun for no one. For minimal effort, they could just make it a standard frag grenade with higher damage and longer range so they wouldn’t have to make new assets, or alternatively they could either bring back Flashbang but just have it slow instead of stun, or even give him a skill-shot lasso ability that heavily slows someone, although either idea could end up going back into the insanely unfun to play against category both Flashbang and Mag Nade are in.
For Hammond, I honestly don’t know. I think a second off his grapple would be nice so he has more freedom in movement, I also wish they’d just remove the grapple timer altogether. Spin-to-win is an incredibly easy strat to counter for anyone above silver, and the game design should be encouraging people to properly play around it rather than nerfing the hero. Aside from that, maybe lower his gun spread to help him secure kills a little better.
In my over 5 year OW career, I have amassed a mere 6 hours on Symmetra.
With how many nerfs Storm Arrow got I thought I’d never be able to get Hanzo’s pixel achievement (3 kills with one use of Storm Arrows). I lucked out earlier this year and got it though.
The only achievements I have left are Reaper’s Waste Not Want Not, Mercy’s Huge Rez, both Bap achievements, and the Perfect Placement Illari one. Achievement hunting is one of my favorite things to do in OW but my god some of these are just not fun.
All they needed to do was give discord orb the sleep dart treatment and make it 15% instead of 25% on tanks. It was never really a problem for DPS and Supports since they’re already designed around being able to take very little damage.
Better yet, just gives tanks a new passive in general that makes stuns and debuffs like discord and anti less effective. That would do a lot towards making tank far more fun to play, as well as removing a lot of the counter-pick culture we have right now since a lot of counters to tanks are based around either a stun, debuff, or both.
Assuming this is lore-based since Sig and Illari are at the top, Lifeweaver in F is a crime against nature (literally). The ability to grow plants out of essentially nothing is an incredibly powerful skill, and the only reason it’s not more deadly is because Lifeweaver doesn’t like violence that much. Even Sigma acknowledges how dangerous Bio-Light could be in one of his interactions with Lifeweaver. He should be in S teir minimum.
I personally find him more fun both to play as and against. However a lot of that is trampled when characters like Ana and Zen can still effortlessly shut down tanks.
Not at all. You bought the game, you can play it however you want.
I’ve been playing a lot of sombra lately sooo…
Stealth and hack can no longer be canceled by damage Hack now locks out abilities for 5 seconds Virus explodes on impact, making any hacked target in range also take the virus DoT (insane combo with EMP) EMP now deals 50% of the targets MAX hp
If you know they have a Sombra, play closer to your team. The more people focused on her, the less chance she has at being able to secure a kill, and with the new translocator it’s far easier to punish her for going for stealth kills.
For every scenario where a shield would’ve saved someone’s life, there’s another scenario where a chorus fruit or slow falling potion or instant health would’ve saved their life as well. The point is most deaths in late-game Minecraft are edge cases, things you can’t really predict or fully prepare for, or if you can, the cost for the most part outweighs the reward. If you tried to be fully prepared for every edge case scenario all the time, half of your inventory would just be full of these random items to save you, and for Youtubers inventory space is very valuable because it reduces the amount of time a project takes since you don’t have to restock as much. The current MC Youtube meta is about constantly trying to one-up your last project so time is a very valuable resource, especially for streamers.
TL;DR: Most deaths in late-game MC are edge cases and most of the time people would prefer their inventory to be full of stuff they use frequently instead of stuff they only use when they’re about to die.
“Situational in builds” is weird because other than maybe deepslate and a few others it is 100% one of the most commonly used blocks in builds since it’s introduction.
Infinity, 100%. To put things into perspective, I’ve had my current survival world for nearly 3 years now, and I’m still only on my second bow, which I only had to make after losing my first bow when dying, and that alone was probably over 2 years ago. Granted I haven’t played for hours every day and have taken numerous breaks, but still, infinity is the way to go.
Likely not. After covid people are in general much more aware of spreading germs so big events like this are far less popular, as well as the fact that admission to these kind of events is far more expensive than most people can afford. Additionally, there’s not really enough going on to warrant a massive event. People complain about the current live events being filled with too much bloat, imagine flying out to a convention that’d have to have far more to pad out the time.
In short, it would be way too much effort for both the people setting up the event and the attendees, and the audience for this type of event is not nearly as large anymore.
Personally no. In 6v6 tank felt like you were entirely dependent on your tank partner, if you got someone you didn’t mesh well with, your ass was grass. Even in this current meta which is not great for tank, I still feel in more control and have more fun than I did 95% of the time in 6v6.
Plus, I feel like the current issues with tanking rn are much more solvable than in OW1. With 6v6 balancing tank was a nightmare because any minor change could cause an extremely overpowered tank duo. Tanks were in a state where they were too strong when paired with a certain tank, but garbage when paired with any other. In 5v5, with some tweaks to how CC and debuffs affect tanks, as well as some changes to address healing and damage power creep, the game could be much more fun and healthy for all 3 roles.
I play almost exclusively vanilla. Only mods I ever use are minimal, either for performance or for QoL features.
