Top 3 defense isn’t a hot take. Wolves were the top defense in the NBA when Gobert was on the court last season (despite everyone saying he was washed). Wolves defense was horrible when he was on the bench.
KAT and Naz playing better defense and Ant being more consistent on defense should boost the defense when he is on the bench.
I’d agree, but Toronto was shooting pretty lights out on mainly contested 3’s. Without our best perimeter defender. I think we actually have the team makeup (if Rudy is really back) to be #1 on that end this year.
