Top 3 defense isn’t a hot take. Wolves were the top defense in the NBA when Gobert was on the court last season (despite everyone saying he was washed). Wolves defense was horrible when he was on the bench.
KAT and Naz playing better defense and Ant being more consistent on defense should boost the defense when he is on the bench.
I’d agree, but Toronto was shooting pretty lights out on mainly contested 3’s. Without our best perimeter defender. I think we actually have the team makeup (if Rudy is really back) to be #1 on that end this year.

This is my take as well. It’s one thing to have great interior d with Gobert and towns down there, but they are rotating and not giving up wide open threes.

But last in offense lmao BUT our defense is soo good, that even with the worst offense we are top 10 in point differential.
Our offense was bad, but Ant stunk up the first 3 quarters which he normally won’t do and KAT stunk up the game which he normally won’t do. Plus, when Shake, Brown Jr., and NAW start getting more comfortable, it’s going to be bonkers
I think getting Jaden back will help too. His shooting, baseline drives and cutting are valuable, he’s one of the only guys who consistently cuts and moves off-ball. I also think he’s pretty good with hockey assists and keeping the ball movement going.
Can’t believe I’m saying this but he actually might have a bigger impact on our offense than defense right now.
