I have an ABB Terra AC (TAC-W22-G5-R-0) charger with firmware version 1.6.9.

I am trying to connect the charger to my home WiFi, but it constantly fails to do so. I’ve tried several WiFi SSIDs, including hotspot from my phone and laptop, but without success. I’ve also tried to change configurations through TerraConfig app, but nothing works.

The only thing I’ve noticed is that the charger is actually able to connect to the network (obtains a local IP), but the charger still shows that it’s failed to connect to the Internet.

I’ve also tried to setup some OCPP servers (from the list they have provided), but failed as well.

Any ideas what the hell is going on here? What can cause the WiFi to fail connecting to the internet?

This is a classic symptom of not setting the Gateway correctly.
