I saw a Reddit post that basically said that despite being in the same state, Eagles fans hate the steelers while steelers literally don’t think about the eagles, maybe because of the ring differences.
I was wondering if it was the same with packers fans and Vikings fans, because I grew up in the twin cities and hating the packers is basically a Minnesota tradition so it’d be kinda embarrassing/hilarious if it was a one sided rivalry lol.
Admittedly, I’m just now getting into football so I haven’t really had many interactions with packers fans, but I definitely remember every Viking fan hating the packers
If you want an odd perspective….
I’m from New England and my father was an NFL fan before the patriots were in the league. He loved the Purple People Eaters and Tarkenton
So I grew up to be a Vikings fan.
As I got older and went to several games my love for the team/game grew but I started to dislike their hometown fans. Reddit makes it even worse because I can see their obsession with GB and complacency with mediocrity.
My dislike of the Packers is the same as my dislike of the Cowboys. When I was growing up, people latched onto the Packers/Favre or the tail end of the Cowboys run. It was a big bandwagon following in the 90s.
Packers sub/GB fans of the packers from Wisconsin are much more respectable and knowledgeable about the game.
I love the Vikings, and it’s not possible to change the team, but I really wish my father had picked a different team in the 60s
