Everything went downhill after that Spurs game for Scottie. I’m not sure if it was at that point that the offense went back to focusing on Siakam.

I remember the game right after (Dallas), we gave the ball a bunch of times to Siakam in the first quarter and he finished with 30+ points.

the offense went back to a bunch of isos for Siakam, which is good to maintain his trade value and gives us a slightly better chance at winning. but these rotations are making it tough for Scottie (besides the fact that he himself has been more passive lately)

in terms of winning, we were still meh (3-4), but at least Scottie was putting in work and it was enjoyable to watch.

Scottie himself missed about 6 attempts at the rim today. It’s on him too.

Also, this is a stupid excuse. Do you want him to be a star or not? Star players get opponent game planning, it just is what it is. If he can’t figure that out, then he’s not that guy.

Compare him to Maxey, don’t make excuses for him like he’s Jordan Poole.
