    I don’t know why we even bother going to drop coverage against guys who can dribble off a screen and pull up. I honestly think we know going into the game that it’s not going to work but we save the switching for a critical point in the game because we know it will work, at least long enough to hold them off.

    I say this because there is no way professional players and a coach DON’T know that guys like Trae, Bogey, Steph, Klay, etc. will murder drop coverage, but we see it time and time again when we have to defend these guys. It has to be a game flow decision and they know they can’t switch everything all game or the other team will adjust by the end, so we do the opposite.
