Loss tomorrow night would put us in a 5 way tie for the 9th overall pick (w/o factoring in tie-breakers).

I know losing isn’t fun, but having a young Top 3 Franchise QB and WR in the league, along with a ton of other talent (both young and/or locked up) and still being able to draft potentially in the top 10 and realistically as high as 7-8 (which also means 38, 70, 102, 134, etc.) due to weird injury circumstances… is a rare opportunity that gives us a massive chance, if we hit on even on even 50% of those picks, to change the financial landscape and ease the burden of Burrow and Chase’s massive contracts.

Yes, that’s a big if of us having to hit those picks, but the fact remains, drafting nearly 20 slots higher for every pick drastically increases your chances on hitting on those picks and picking best available based on our board.

Perfect scenario, would be if we somehow end up in the top 10 where Jayden Daniels slides to and we trade back and add even more significant draft capital, assuming there isn’t a no brainer pick they love.
