He slows and bogs the game down, he’s not as explosive as he used to and can’t draw fouls like he used to. The offense moves better through Maxey and Embiid. We should trade him for some key role players, good depth pieces and a pass first guard. Maxey should take the microwave number 2 Role and he’s doing it so far this year averaging 32. He needs to get more confidence and putting him in a number 3 role under a washed harden could diminish his potential. We need some 3&D wings and a pass first guard. Also please trade Tobi, he was good this game but he disappears in the playoffs, every single fucking year.

If this organization doesn’t want to hinder the development of Maxey then you don’t bring Harden back, period. Harden is who he is, he’s only operated out of his own best interest and ONLY for himself throughout his career.

Maxey has earned every right to be THE starting guy for this team, he’s busted his ass off every offseason and has conducted himself with grace in this city since the day he was drafted, let him have his time to shine.

If you suddenly reduce his role or cater to Harden it would be a massive slap in the face. If this organization doesn’t want to give Maxey a reason to test free agency next season and go elsewhere, they better start trusting Maxey.

He’s earned that opportunity, don’t hinder his superstar potential for an old, washed up, toxic James Harden.
