For everyone saying they should give up on Pickett, who do you suggest they should either draft, sign, or trade for.

Before I get downvotes into oblivion let me make it clear that in now way shape or form do I believe the Steelers will give up on him nor should they unless for the rest of the year they lose and he is the main reason why. The Steelers are notoriously stubborn on admitting wrong decisions and I believe Pickett will at least be given through next year. But I wanted to ask everyone who they think would be a REALISTIC option (No Caleb Williams or Drake Maye) to replace Pickett if they were to go that route. Let’s say they have Pick 16 in the draft this next year for reference. (The Steelers likely wouldn’t trade all the way up into the top 5 for Williams or Maye).

I think he deserves at least one year without Canada , and with new OL & QB coaches. That way we can see if it’s just him, or if he’s being held back by poor coaching & offensive schemes. If he doesn’t improve after the offensive coaching is changed, then it’s probably time to move on.

Hell, Josh Allen was pretty bad his first couple years too, and he’s pretty damn good now. Even the great Terry Bradshaw was AWFUL his first 2 years, just serviceable his third, then became great.
