I disagree with the bosses. From my point of view they have just too much health turning the fights into battles of attrition where they should be battles of skill. There wasn’t a single boss in lies of P that I had the patience to beat 1v1 yet adding in any summon simply trivialized the fight to the point it felt like cheating. They weren’t able to find a balance imo which sucked a lot of the fun out of the game for me
What does that mean? You can’t really “do more damage” you lose every trade with the bosses and they have very short windows that (from my experience) vary based on inputs

It really depends on your play style. Some people play in a way that let’s them do a lot of damage, while others are more careful.
