I understand that teams in these contracts are paying for future production, not past production. If I’m going to give you like $100M, I’d like to have some past production. Patrick Williams has done some stuff, but like that’s just… if that’s the number, if that ends up being true and the Vassell deal ends up being the comp that his agents go to, that’s a lot of cheese.

i’ve watched patrick williams play plenty. he’s without a doubt the single most valuable asset your entire franchise has. but whatever, this makes me feel more hopeful that Portland can land him in RFA next year (or at this years trade deadline).
