I’ve only played Mageseeker and Convergence, and of the two I’d choose Mageseeker.

Convergence was fine but after playing metroidvanias like Hollow Knight and the Ori games, it was hard to enjoy the gameplay since the movement and combat didn’t feel nearly as good as those games.
