Schroder was so good for us in the clutch. Proven chemistry with the guys and would always bounce back from injuries. Why wouldn’t we keep that continuity? And Lonnie we could’ve resigned on a cheap deal using non bird rights and if it failed could’ve easily used his salary as trade filler. Coaching is another story.

    Feels to me that signing Vincent over Schröder was a change for changes sake. Yes Vincent played really well in the playoffs, but I think Schröder adds a dynamic to the team that we are now sorely missing. I get Schröder made a little bit more on his contract, but are you telling me he wouldn’t prefer to have stayed in LA and play with 2 top 10 players and Reaves? I didn’t love letting him go in favor for Vincent in the summer, and I’m disliking it more now.
