Mac has 2.5 seconds to throw, at most. Our WR’s can’t get free downfield. Bob knows this and is purposefully calling plays that are designed to give Mac short throws. When push comes to shove, Mac throws to a WR who then drops it. Yeah, Mac sometimes makes bad decisions, but this stat isn’t telling the whole story.
