Am I the only one who feels like this? I’m talking about our plain blue and silver uniform with the no-logo-ass-havin helmets. The one that’s so generic, it could be used in an insurance commercial without you realizing. I don’t want to hate them but after some thinking, this is why I do.

I think any decent alternate jersey meets one of the following criteria:

1. It’s new.
2. It’s old, but looks awesome (Bucs).
3. It’s old and looks terrible, but is in your face about it (Steelers).

The Lions throwbacks don’t suck because they’re atrocious, they suck because they’re boring and we have to see them Every. Single. Year.
