According to their podcast this week:

During a chat with the podcast The Fourth Curtain, Booty reiterated that they are still working hard to have a better release stream going forward. In case you don’t remember, Spencer promised at least one big release every quarter, so the goal is to have 4 strong titles every year.

From Booty’s perspective, 2023 was a great year in this regard, as there were major games that were distributed throughout the months. The manager wants this pace to be maintained, so they are already preparing the next titles to meet their goal during 2024.

“We’ve got a goal of a big game – you know, a new release, something significant – going out four times a year. So every three months we’ve got something new coming out,” Booty stated.

He added that there are already titles planned for next year: Ara: History Untold and Towerborne. To the surprise of some, he also made a mention of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, Ninja Theory’s long-awaited title that has been in development for several years. While he didn’t reveal anything about its release date, it looks like 2024 will finally be the year of its debut.

"And I think with Starfield and then going into Forza Motorsport, and then as we head into next year we showed the game Ara: History Untold and the game Towerborne at Gamescom, we’ve got Hellblade II that comes later, it feels like we’re getting there,” Booty stated in reference to making good on his promise.

This is still like…4x too slow on the throughput. For Sony too. These fuckers need to start loss-investing in their consoles. The “walled garden” has lost its benefit this generation and theyre not making up for it with the game releases.
