APA was put in an unfortunate team experiment of TLCK. Video showed he was left out quite often in crucial communications. The only positive I can think of for him in this team is that at least he got paid to pursue his passion. Outside of that, yeah, just an ill fit with the team, because the team and their coaching staff weren’t very accommodating to him.
And talking about the coaching staff, I don’t think Dodo or Reignover should be coaches or involved in communicating directly with players. Especially RO. He is the first to mental boom in the team. He is supposed to be a coach before he is a fan with all-access front seats.
Even Summit had to tell him that as a coach, he is supposed to stay strong for them.
Analyst going over gameplay details with Pyosik only before the game stood out a little to me. It was telling of the level of game concepts the team had. Their foundation and floor, if you will.
Anyways, I really enjoy when teams give us glimpses of their everyday routine. But man, the video told us more about the coaching staff than the players lol
It is normal for players to lose confidence and faith in one another when shit goes south. But the staff isn’t supposed to be the captain of that wallowing in self-pity ship. They are supposed to be the ones to apply solutions, not drone on about their experience while observing the sinking ship.
