The reason why he can’t say what he said to Faker is because it is a remark about a conflict in the past. The style of play that T1 seems to have attained and played throughout the Knockout Stage was his ideal.

Faker prob opposed him on it back then, and along with musical chairs of giving every player from 10-man roster an opportunity, he was sacked from the team.

And now that he is beaten by the style of play he preached during his time in T1 and Faker initially opposed, he feels the unfairness of life and can’t help but try to explain himself.

That’s why he praised and respected the way T1 played and why he even mentioned Faker following teammates’ pace and they following his.
