Just want to have a discussion. I think a lot of non-Sixers people figured his ceiling prior to this year was a fringe All Star like a D’Aaron Fox but better with shooting.

But all he does is continue to add to his bag. He came into the league with a wet floater and elite speed. Then he became an elite shooter and mastered going to his left. Now it’s his passing and defense. What the hell is next for him?

Where do you see him compared to the rest of the league in 3 years as he truly hits his prime? Top 20 player? Top 10?

If you had said the latter a year ago, I probably would have scoffed. But honestly I think that Maxey has shown us that we shouldn’t even try putting a ceiling on him because that beautiful head will just bust through it.

    When Maxey figures out how to get to the line more, like 8 FTA per game, he’ll be a superstar guard. I have all the confidence he’ll figure that part of the game out.
