I just picked up a 2012 X5 and can’t figure out how to get a “normal” display on the iDrive. What I’d like is split screen with radio station info (RDS) and map (current location, likely won’t use it for navigation) or computer info on the other.

As shown in my picture, I can get map on one side, but the other side always seems to be in “settings” mode… displaying different stations to choose from, foe example, when I just want the song/artist info for the current song and current station. The majority of the screen is a list of stations I don’t care about, and the RDS info all scrolls in a tiny 7-character zone at the top of the screen. Any way to get a more readable display for song and artist?
