I need to know that I’m not crazy for thinking at least most if not all of these don’t really make any sense even considering everyone can have their own opinion

For almost all of these it was like 3-5 people all agreeing out of like maybe 8-10 people that are active only sometimes having one person disagree. Ages are a few 15-20, a few 25 ish and a 36 year old

Bugs/Glitches are very common in general (they’re extremely rare in my experience)

2D/Top down/Turn based games are not in any way inferior in gameplay to real time 3D games(no matter if it’s an action game with amazing gameplay)

Games from PS1 era were already amazing, additionally games from PS2 era are NOT OUTDATED and as good as to modern games. Yet every time they would play a game from like 2008-2011-PS3 gen- they would post a mini review with numerous complaints which are clearly related to being a 12-15 year old game

All the major nintendo franchises being top tier and not aimed at a younger audience whatsoever. (I do not think of any nintendo series that highly at all and just about everyone I know stopped playing any nintendo games after childhood). Yes a few nintendo games might be pretty great and they did steal Bayonetta. Also that they have better exlusives than Sony (???)

All Sony exclusives are very similar (literally none of them are actually similar)

All souls likes are very similar (literally the opposite)

Horizon is terrible in most aspects with aloy beign a horrible insufferable and cringe protagonist and BOTW being better in every way. (Completely disagree on all regards)

TLOU2 story being one of the best stories ever with no bad writing or plot holes of any kind (seems to be very controversial but let’s just say most people would not agree in the slightest)

Wo long is so easy you don’t even have to upgrade your healing in any way to beat it (as a skilled and experience player with max upgrade heals and equipment struggled way more with some bosses than in almost all similar games

Had two guys not only trying to say that elden ring is insanely overrated but that since its open world it’s really not that different at all from a recent Assassins creed game (???)

Also that every single AC game ever is ridiculously boring, completely irredeemable with the worst combat and mission design and overall structure of any series ever that has undeniable ruined gaming as a whole (no comment)

Would rank a sly cooper, ratchet and clank, jak and daxter game (or a zelda/mario game) or a random indie game in their top 3 of all time. (In my experience normally people think of those series fondly but just as decent games from their childhood and nothing more. Also have not seen anyone who would rank an indie game over a top tier AAA game)

Third party Sony games are overall better than first party in the last several years (it’s not even close at all)

One dude saying if you don’t play indie games you’re missing out on the vast majority of good games you should be playing. No one contradicted him.

Fornite and Minecraft being like top 10 games of the last decade (I’m not even sure they count as proper games in a way)

Gears and halo being much better than any similar game (Not sure this is considered a crazy take but I like the gameplay of killzone or crysis way more and I like a few other similar games more than gears or halo which is pretty subjective at that point yea)

CAPCOM in the last several years has been BY FAR the best gaming company-Gave some weak reasoning as to why they weren’t including Fromsoftware. (Any company I can think of that you can compare them to has done similarly as well or close in quantity/quality of releases like bandai namco or ubisoft or maybe Square enix or bethesda games)

That Fromfoft has huge balancing issues except for in sekiro and souls likes(non From) are usually fine in terms of balace. (I have played nearly 20 souls likes-nonFrom- and it has always been the opposite. I’d say virtually any From boss can be reasonably beaten in few tries except for sekiro endgame bosses which have huge balancing issues and then souls likes can often have big problems in their balance). Also one guy said Lies of P has better level design than the actual dark souls games.

There was probably even more that I dont remember but honestly more than anything it was crazy seeing that someone would have a very niche or questionable or debatable opinion to say the least(if not just objectively wrong) and would be 100% convinced that they’re correct(became even worse when others agreed) and would almost turn hostile if someone disagreed
