Just ordered a 2024 X3 in Mineral White Metallic. I’ve been reading through some forums and am second guessing my color choice. I already have an X3 in Alpine White and have no complaints, just wanted to switch things up. People say that Mineral White looks yellow and “dirty” next to Alpine White, but really shines in the sun. Can anyone share their experiences with Mineral White Metallic? For reference, the car will have the M Sport Package with Shadowline. In addition, the brake calipers will be red to go along with the Tacora Red interior. I live in Florida so the car will see its fair share of cloudy and sunny days. I’m also a bit worried about durability since I plan to keep the car for at least 2 or 3 years, not to mention it being my daily.

Alpine on the left, mineral on the white. Realistically they have very similar tones in the dark, it’s when you reach mid-daylight that the mineral white gives this, sorta matte like metallic sheen that makes the color really pop. Something to note about metallics is that they tend to hide scratches and dirt just a little better than flat out single tone. Imo both look extremely attractive it’s a matter of if you want something that has a flakey metallic shine to it, or something that’s consistently the same brightness and shine no matter what time of day! You can’t go wrong with either, personally I’d go with the mineral!
