I’m sure many of you are tired of the PG conversation. Attainable PGs like Brogdon would certainly hamstring the ability to retain talent or recruit.

So who would you like to see on the move? Personally, Fournier for McBuckets makes sense as NYK has 4 1st rounders this year and 2 next year. I’m sure we could revitalize Fournier and Doug gets a playoff run.

Other than that I like the idea of buying low on Robert Williams like we did with Collins.

Again enough with the Point guard bickering, in the words of Pop “it’s gonna take some time”

I seriously doubt he would be available, but I’m honestly curious what the asking price for Giddey would be. He has been having a down year so far, and OKC will soon have too many mouths to feed. I doubt they will go into the luxury tax to give SGA, Giddey, Chet, and Jalen Williams max money.

Could end up like the Harden situation years back.

The question is, how many picks can OKC have before they no longer move the needle?

They don’t have to worry about that for a while. They can pay SGA and Giddy. Williams and Chet first non rookie salary year would be 2026-27. By then the cap will be so high they can fit another high salary. There’s no reason to jump the gun and assume Giddy will be the odd man out. They are not going to tade him 3 years early just because of a down year.

As far as picks Presti talked about why he’s saving the picks. It’s for this very situation. He could use one of those players and picks to get a the final piece to a championship team. He’s not trading Giddy for more picks and the Spurs don’t have anyone that can help them win a championship…other than Wemby.
