My wife played stardew Valley before dota, she loved the farming. She hadn’t played moba or fps / combat games before so took a while to get confident pressing so many buttons quickly.
And I don’t know if you’ve seen any super low mmr games, but they reminded me of 6 year old kids playing football/soccer. A bunch of people following the ball and a few others randomly walking in circles on the other side of the field.
Also, learning to play other roles helps being a better carry too. You get to know exactly what the enemy team wants to do to you ( since you learn to contain the enemy teams carry without them get out of hand) , so it helps with the decision making to counter their strategies.
