I keep hearing this opinion of, “well it’s probably a good thing Forbes was ejected so we didn’t have to see him get burned all day”.
Obviously New England’s receivers are pretty inept, but Forbes played great. He was clearly schemed as our CB1 against them last week, and it looked to be the same thing at the start of the Seattle game. That means the entire game plan that the coaches and team had been working on all week included Emmanuel as the focal point of our secondary.
We all know Forbes had a tough start to the season, but to suggest that his ejection didn’t negatively affect us, or even HELPED us, is ridiculous.
*Not to mention more game experience for our rookie who needs it
I genuinely thought he was gonna have a great game, and he probably would have too
