So I’ve been slowly going down in behaviour even tho I’m winning most of my games and making my way to 8k mmr, so I only pick meta, dont grief, break items, etc, all the things needed to have a high winrate. 2 behaviour scores ago I got 5900 communication score, so my chat was cut off, meaning I can only ping, although I didnt take a screenshot of that summary since I didn’t know what was gonna happen next. Turns out, even with chat muted I got reported for communication and it impacted negatively on my score, which lead to this score:
I was like, OK that’s good to know, even if you can’t use chat your score can go down, so I took a screenshot to see what would happen if I just keep playing the way I do, will it go down? Will it stay the same?
Well this is what happened:
My behaviour score went up, because like I said, possitive winrate, no griefing, nothing toxic, BUT COMMUNICATION STAYS THE SAME EVEN THO I CAN’T SAY A THING.
The possitive: If you tryhard, carry your team every game, and become a god at dota to climb mmr, you wont get reported as often, get a ton of commends and raise your behaviour score MAYBE. Good luck if you are a bad player, you wont get out tho lol.
The negative: People simply are reporting for anything, even if you can’t communicate and Valve is treating every report under communication as a positive and taking action.
Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
As a player with 12K behavior score - the system is broken.
I only need 10K to keep everything unlocked so the 2K extra is literally toxicity Tokens for me to spend when I like. Then when I drop back down to 10.5-11k I know I need to stop with coms until I get my toxicity points back up to spend them again.
Brilliant system.
