He is probably our best catch and shoot atm but man he is a cone on defense, it has been a problem for 2 seasons now, the worst part is he cant play small ball because he gets caught sleeping on defense or getting killed one vs one. Braun, lonnie walker and divincenzo had momentum buckets against him that changed the game, it is almost like they are hunting him on defense

Also he cant play next to harden, the defense get worse. It is almost we need to run russ next to norm while mann plays next to harden.

Norm is a foul machine too. The Clippers should look to deal him in December. Over the next month or so, Norm needs to continue getting touches and minutes and Bones should remain out of the rotation for the time being so Norm can get his numbers up.

If Norm’s numbers are up then hopefully that raises his trade stock. If Norm gets traded for frontcourt depth then Bones can re-enter the rotation once Norm is gone. I like Norm BTW but I just think he doesn’t fit anymore. This team has too many scorers: Kawhi, PG, Harden, Russ, Norm, & Bones. The team needs more dirty work guys like Mann & Batum who do all the little things right.

It’s exactly this. I love Norm but right now he’s the most valuable tradeable asset we got. Bones can literally take his spot and provide the same offensive threat (very different styles obviously but both very prone to scoring), and Bones has improved on D, is younger and is hungrier. We should trade Norm, unfortunately, for some depth at the PF position.
