Idk why people make fun of this. PFF sacks actually make sense. The current sack system is dumb.
If two edge rushers reach the QB at the same time, and either would have sacked the QB individually, why give them 0.5 each?
You’re punishing a player just because his teammate also did well?
Should be more like tackles where there’s solo and combined. That’s effectively what PFF is doing, summing up solo and combined sacks, instead of this dumb half point system.
