Not trolling here, genuinely curious. I know so many people with BMWs and they all say the same thing… they’re over priced, they’re not very reliable, the cost of maintenance and upkeep is really high, but they also all absolutely love their car.

What is it about BMW that makes you love it despite its short comings and high cost of ownership?

    If you’re able to pick up a wrench you can do most basic maintenance by yourself, but typically people get this impression because BMW’s need to be serviced diligently, on time or on mileage

    They’re great cars because of the ‘ultimate driving machine’ pedigree, and BMW will always look to use ostensibly inferior materials for everyday driving performance and pleasure

    Today Bimmers are much more sophisticated which has its compromises, try and test drive some models - if you’ve never driven one yet - that’s what converted me from being an Audi fan about a decade ago
