I came home from work to the Apple TV 4K in my bedroom on the need to recover screen. I did the recovery and it fails. I go grab the backup unit which is newer 2021 model. It’s been in a drawer for weeks. We take it on vacation. It is exhibiting the exact same behavior. I’m scare to turn on the one in the living room now. lol. Did Apple release something today that bricked them?
I chatted up support. Both units are dead and out of warranty. I bought a new one. I have Roku built in to the tv but I hate it. Apple TV is truly the best ott box out there.
