High, I’m YellowScar and am hi off my rocker. Feel free to witness the madness that is my idea for a balance patch.

Bastion:
- Option 1:
- Recon: Maybe reverted back to how it was in OW1. I fount that version to be more satisfying.
- Self-Repair: Just as it was in OW1.
- Assault: Minigun hitbox turned into critical hitbox, making this form more of a glass cannon.
- Passive: Ironclad passive either removed, or altered to be 10% for recon… along with the armor being changed into normal health.
- …Failing that, it’d be cool to have a New DPS reuse Bastion’s old recon and Self-Repair.
- Option 2:
- Role - Tank: Bastion’s kit has a tendency of drawing attention far more than any DPS, but just as much as any other tank. Not only that, but the hitbox and survivability he used to have in OW1 fit the tank role much better than even some tanks currently there… I’m looking at you, Junkerqueen.
- Healthpool: Unchanged in open queue. 300 HP and 150 Armor in Role Queue.
- Self-Repair: Just as it was in OW1, maybe with a better HPS.
- Recon: Reverted to how it was in OW1, right before the release of OW2.
- Tactical Grenade: Renamed “Impact Grenade,” explodes on impact with an enemy, and does more knockback to enemies… Also sticks to walls just like it does to floors, instead of bouncing.
- Assault: Maybe has a longer cooldown or something.
Reinhardt:
- Shield: Less health?
- Charge: Immune to CC, like Mauga.
- Passive - Blaze of Glory: Dealing damage to an enemy inflicts them with burn, and you will get guaranteed critical hits against burning enemies.
- Maybe x1.5 instead of the usual x2, but the basic idea is to give Rein more damage.
- This is basically Mauga’s gimmick but on a melee tank… Speaking of which:
Mauga:
- Primary / Altfire: Both have the same flame and guaranteed critical hits, and maybe less falloff at a distance. Maybe even set enemies on fire quicker?
- Passive: Maybe more overhealth from critical hits?
- Release: He’s actually in the game again. I played him during the demo and I want him playable again lmao.
Zarya:
- Role - DPS: Zarya was initially designed to supplement a tank, far more than any other tank in OW1. That and Mei’s off-tank design convinced me that Zarya belongs in the DPS role of 5v5.
- Heathpool - 150 HP, 150 Shields.
- Barrier: Now reduces damage instead of outright blocking it.
Mei:
- Healthpool: Anywhere from 300 to 350 HP
- Hitbox: In keeping with her off-tank design, she is now as large as a tank… and as thicc as her fanart lmao.
- If this and the healthpool change can’t happen, then I guess having an Omnic tank with a modified version of her kit would be just as good. Sorta like Rein and Brig or 76 and Bap.
Widowmaker:
- Primary/Scope-Shot: Critical hit damage is done as bleed damage over time, instead of all at once.
Reaper:
- Altfire - Just A Phase: Basically Wraith on a resource meter… and without the speed boost or reload.
- Ability - Wraith: Now uses up Just A Phase’s resource bar, prevents said bar from recharging until it’s off cooldown, and only has a cooldown of 2-to-4 seconds.
Maria:
- Option 1:
- Orbs: Now instead of summoning the weird ass orbs that link to teammates or enemies, this move now shoots one of two projectiles that does a bit of healing or damage and inflicts either a buff to temporarily have Reaper’s passive or a debuff to give Reaper’s passive to anyone who shoots your target.
- Shadow: She’s reunited with Shadow the Hedgehog, lmao.
- Option 2:
- Role - DPS: She is now in the correct role, no further changes have been made.
