Title says it all. After the update to watch OS 10 my heart rate complications quit updating on my Ultra 2 and series 8. I was hoping 10.1.1 would fix that. Nope. Now while doing a workout on bike trainer the apple watch ultra 2 was sometimes 15 bpm faster than on a Polar H10 chest strap. Today the ultra was 10-12 bpm slower. The Polar H10 is considered by some to be the gold standard for HR monitors so I’m pretty sure it is accurate. So disappointed with Apple this time around with the OS10.1.1 and the IOS 17.1 updates. If I didn’t have so many Apple products I think I would jump ship and go back to Samsung. I know Apple will get it all sorted out out eventually, but damn

I just updated my watchOS to 10.1.1 and now my heart rate is running anywhere from 20 to 30 bpm higher than it actually is. I’ve been working super hard to lose weight this year and pour over all of my fitness data each day like it’s the Zapruder tape.

This glitch is extremely frustrating. Now I have no idea how many calories I’m actually burning. If anyone knows of or discovers a fix, I’d love to hear it.

I hear you, I’ve been working hard on fitness and losing weight an paying close attention to the data. Now my HRV is toast, resting HR is way off, and all trends are gone. I just got off phone with Apple Support and he did some remote testing and said it is almost sure thing its software problem. He gave me a few things to try to try and isolate the problem, but I’m doubtful. I guess wait until watch OS 10.2 and IOS 17.2 come out in December and hope that fixes things.
