Looking at the current Clippers roster, resumes are just crazy. Kahwi is a two time NBA finals MVP, DPOY and has multiple 1st All-NBA teams. James Harden has multiple scoring titles, MVP, was a three times MVP runner up etc. Russell Westbrook was MVP, scoring leader and assist leader etc. And Paul George is a consistent superstar with multiple All-NBA team selections.

Now, they are all between 32 and 35 years of age. And obviously, ammount of individual talent does not always translate to succes. However, was there a point in recent NBA history where these 4 player on the same team would likely get a chip? Keep in mind, that they would go against that years competition. So if the answer is 2018, they would have to beat KD warriors.

Harden and the rockets took KD warriors to a game 7. I definitely think if everyone was on this team during their prime, they can win it all.

i personally still think that they just need to figure out their dynamic. if they can work on chemistry and specific roles, they’d be very tough to beat - even right now.

I mean… people are talking about the Harden / Russ fit, but that’s simple - just stagger them and have them take turns running the bench unit. Shit, prime Russ won MVP and made the playoffs with one of the worst rosters in the league.

Roll back to their prime years, pick one where Kawhi doesn’t get injured, and with that much talent you probably win a chip, sure.
