After watching the first Rockets game under HC Udoka, it’s become apparent that adjusting to Udoka’s style will take some time and involve some growing pains.
I just wanted to get some form of context regarding his first head coaching stint in Boston. How long did it take for the Celtics to get going under Udoka, and what were some of their specific struggles early on?
Udoka’s system focuses on defense which relies on personnel. The problem with this is that the rockets dont employ the same personnel to pull this off. The defense relies on switching and having a roaming paint protector. I think this is hard to achieve with the current roster there
