We started the year 1-4. Schedule was tough (@ Celtics, @ Bucks, etc.) but we also struggled against some cupcakes (I’m still mad at the Nets game). We then beat the Wizards (but…blew a lead) and barely beat the Lakers (if Reddish hits that shot…).
Then we start to go on a bit of a run. Looking like the team we know we are. True, schedule is soft now too but we just *look* better…starting with the Grizz game where an ankle got twisted…
Last year, in the playoffs, schedule was tough (@ Celtics, @ Bucks, etc.) but we beat those teams then. Y’all see the pattern…
This isn’t a Herro-hate post. This is wondering if there’s anyone who’s more basketball-savvy than me who can help explain why, despite small sample size, we seem to look better without Herro…
Nasty implications about Herro as usual. That’s why I’m sad he went down cause the weird subsection of heat fans always do this. Stop that.
Just a coincidence.
You’re gonna get downvoted to oblivion, but even though I don’t necessarily agree with you, I agree that Herro doesn’t gel with the starters as well as others think. I think he would be best suited off the bench like that season he won 6MOY. There are too many cooks in the kitchen for him to hold the ball and do is thing. It would benefit us much more if we can start the game letting Bam/Jimmy cook, then Tyler comes in with a greenlight and lets it fly. Right now Tyler has the greenlight as the starter but he’s just taking those opportunity’s away from others than can score, instead of taking the opportunity away from the bench unit that has problem scoring. He’s never going to go back to the bench but I truly believe we would be so much better if JJJ/Duncan started and Herro came off the bench.
Don’t agree with what? Me asking a question? Im not making an argument for you to agree or disagree. I’m asking a question.
In Jimmy’s 4 years here, Jimmy/Bam/Duncan lineups have a 9.12 net rating, Jimmy/Bam/Herro lineups have a 4.31 net rating. Duncan is a better fit in the starting lineup and the team is better when he starts. That is also why Herro has a 55-53 record as a starter and a 93-49 when coming off the bench.
Your like them other clowns on twitter and yt, we were barring injuries to start off the season
Here we go again lol
