Browns fans have such a delusional victim complex. Even before Watson, they’re always like “why does everyone hate us?”- we don’t hate you irrationally, we just don’t respect you as a franchise cuz y’all suck every year. “We had our team stolen” so have other teams but they’re not whining about it. Colts leaving was far worse than the browns moving with the way they did it, and Bmore won more SBs in 4 years than the browns ever have.
It’s cuz the browns are run by morons and have horrific owners. Their problems have always been self-inflicted.

Remember when their last quarterback, the one who wasnt getting a fully guaranteed paycheck, went and played his heart out through injury to get them to their first playoff game in our lifetime?
Remember when they called him a ‘child’ and cut him in favor of a guy who is a habitual abuser of women and now cant play because of injury but gets paid anyway?

They signed a sex offender to one of the richest contracts in NFL history after he didn’t play for almost 2 years. You knew what you were getting when you signed him. You just ignored it
As a fan it’s just the fact that that this falls into the browns narrative. It’s why can’t we make decisions that work in our favor. We’ve had new owners. It doesn’t work. We’ve had new GMs. It doesn’t work. We hire new coaches. It doesn’t work. The players just can’t get it done. The thing that hurts the most is watching other teams (especially you guys and shittsburg) just get it right. Business as usual. The old goes out and the new picks right up. We’ve tried to replace every broken part of the machine but they just never work well together.

Maybe unpopular but as obnoxious as their fans are, they don’t deserve the stupid ass shit the owners of the Browns have done over the decades.
That being said, they are second in the division and deep in the hunt for a playoff spot. Other teams/cities got it way worse.
Okay, Browns fan here (Sorry just popped in my feed). I have never liked the Watson deal and hate that ownership did it. Not only is he not worth the $230M contract, he wasn’t worth the 3 FRPs either, and that’s before we factor in that he’s an awful human being.
But…what did I do as a fan to deserve such a shitty franchise? The one year we have a great run game (rip Nick Chubb) and a great defense, we’re stuck with this asshole of a QB. I tried switching teams but honestly it’s hard to give up 25 years of fandom especially when other players like Myles and Nick Chubb are so likable.
Anyway, not expecting any sympathy from the Ravens thread just my 2 cents.
