Early 2000s vs the Vikings. Close game we go up late in the 4th. Stallpepper (Culpepper for you new saints fans) wins the game going for 2 after fumbling the snap, making a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, taking a nap, then waltzing into the end zone. Saints were 9-4 and just needed to win one game to get into the playoffs. We lost last 3. “We want Jake!”
Year after, playing the Bucs. Needing to win. We’re up 7-0 and Brooks throws an absolute beauty of a rope in between Horn’s numbers in the endzone that he drops. Think we missed field goal or had a turnover. Bucs went on to win 14-7. Same year as the Jaguars debacle.

Not sure it would have mattered in the grand scheme but two plays from the Minny miracle game:
Snead overthrowing a wide open Kamara when we were down 6
right before we took the lead, we had 3rd and 1 with 33 seconds left and couldn’t get the yard. If we get the yard there we probably erase the chance of the Minny miracle even happening since we could have drained the clock
