Bill Bellichik won it in 2003, 2007 and 2010 (two 14-2 seasons and a 16-0 season)

In 2010 BB took the team 14-2 and one and doned in the playoffs… won CoY

Andy had a 14-2 season in 2020, taking his team to back to back SBs… Dude doesn’t even get mentioned.

Last year at the start of the season, everyone said the “Chiefs are retooling and are gonna have a down year”…Reid takes that team with a near completely rookie or 2nd year defense (most young player snap time in the league on D), after trading away Reek and bringing in new WRs and a revamped OL… wins the fucking SB.

Gets fucking two whole AP votes… while Brian Dobbel takes a team 9-7-1 and gets 27 AP votes.

This year again, pieces together an offense that is in first place in the AFC… probably won’t mean shit.

It’s kind of crazy the disrespect he gets. I know he probably doesn’t care but idk if any coach that has done what he’s done has gotten less recognition for it.

Anyway just kind of fucked how he gets treated by the awarding committe for what he’s accomplished.

Coach of the Year should be like All-Pro, or they should have an All-Pro award for coaching. Because Andy Reid is neglected for always being great.

Excellent point, OP. You are spot on. Andy should have won it more than once over his career. Last year for sure.

His son murdering someone drunk driving then getting off without an issue and not paying for the medical bills? I’d say ignoring old papa Andy is a fair trade
