GOD willing we get a new DC +GM atleast and hopefully a new staff. How that new staff views Curl and want to use him will dictate funds and I don’t want to immediately hamstring them by saying “yeah but we are paying Curl”

With ~90 mil, 5 top picks and a QB on a 5th round rookie deal, we can quickly overhaul the defensive talent and oline.
Now, I still would resign personally but the art of a good deal is being prepared to walk from negotiations if you just aren’t getting a deal done
Agreed, I don’t know if he’s even top 5 at his position and 2 guys who are (Derwin James and Justin Simmons) are making about 18 AAV and 16 AAV respectively. I see Kam as a 13-14M AAV guy… that’s still a LOT of money and cap, so if that’s not enough for him then so be it. That said, I’d love to have him back
