What a find in the 7th round
Damn I thought Jaylon Jones has been good but he’s been good good.
Honestly if we retain Moore we could have a pretty decent young secondary next year. Flowers looked good, Brents looked good, jones and Kenny are seemingly pretty damn decent.
It makes me sad Flowers and Brents are unavailable.
Honestly this confirms what I thought though. We have an inexperienced and injured group with little depth because of said injuries. Not as bad as it seems sometimes and curious how much of their struggles were a result of Bradley’s cover 3 which is a little outdated. He has used different coverages lately but idk if that’s an adjustment he made or out of necessity due to running out of CBs
The pass rush got home the past two weeks.
Our corners are plenty good enough when we pressure the quarterback.
I’m super interested to see whether Dayo builds on his breakout performance last week after the bye.
Without pressure, our defense is bad. With pressure, our defense is excellent.
We need to draft another top defensive end prospect. Even if he only comes in on third down, we HAVE to get that pressure.

I didn’t realize Jayson Johnson was that good for the bears, I wouldn’t have minded if we pulled the trigger and sent a 2nd for a guy like that but I love seeing our guys are getting better. At the rate these guys have improved this season by 2025 we gonna have a couple all pros back there haha. Lemme Dream.
So baker is staying in step with WRs and just not making plays on the ball? Am I parsing this right?
